Disconnection is common and usually harmless. It means Doreach can no longer act on the account, not that the account is in trouble.
Why it happens
- Password changed
- Two-factor prompt not completed
- A LinkedIn security checkpoint
- Session expired naturally
- You signed out of all sessions
- The account was restricted, which is the one case that needs care
Reconnecting
- Open Accounts and find the account marked Disconnected.
- Before reconnecting, open LinkedIn in a normal browser and sign in. Complete any verification, checkpoint or two-factor prompt. This is the step that matters. Reconnecting while LinkedIn is still holding a checkpoint just fails again.
- Confirm the account looks normal: you can search, view profiles, and send a message.
- Back in Doreach, choose Reconnect and re-authenticate.
- Check the timezone and working hours survived, then resume.
If it was restricted
If step 2 shows a restriction rather than a routine checkpoint, do not reconnect yet. Follow the recovery steps in the safety guide: resolve it with LinkedIn, wait, then lower the account’s weekly limits to roughly half what they were before restarting it.
What happens to campaigns
Campaigns using the account pause automatically and resume from where they stopped. Nothing is lost, nothing is skipped, and nobody gets a duplicate message.
If several accounts ran the campaign, the others carry on while one is down.
Repeat disconnections
An account that drops every few days usually means shared or inconsistent access: someone logging in from a very different location, or the profile being used on several tools at once. See troubleshooting.
