Switching tools is mostly a data move plus a rebuild of sequence structure.

## What comes across cleanly

**Prospect lists.** Every major tool exports to CSV. Export from your current tool, then [import the CSV](/help/getting-started/import-prospects-from-a-csv/). Keep the LinkedIn profile URL column, that is the one that matters.

**Message copy.** Paste your existing openers and follow-ups into the sequence builder. Variable syntax differs between tools, so check for leftovers like `{first_name}` or `%FIRSTNAME%` and replace them with Doreach's `{{first_name}}`.

**Do-not-contact lists.** Doreach has no blacklist feature yet, so keep your suppression list outside the product and filter it out of any CSV before you import. This is the step people forget, and it is the one with real consequences.

## What has to be rebuilt

**Sequence structure.** Every tool models steps, delays and conditions differently, so there is no clean import path. In practice rebuilding a campaign takes about ten minutes once the copy is pasted.

**Analytics history.** Past performance stays in your old tool. Export any reporting you need before cancelling.

## Lower the limits before you start

An account that has been automated elsewhere is still a newly connected account here, and Doreach does not ramp it for you. Set its weekly limits well below the defaults for the first two to three weeks. A change in sending pattern is itself a signal to LinkedIn.

## Suggested order

1. Connect one account in Doreach and set its weekly limits low.
2. Filter your do-not-contact list out of the CSV.
3. Import prospects.
4. Rebuild your best-performing campaign only, and launch it.
5. Let the old tool finish its in-flight sequences, then stop it.
6. Move the rest across once you are happy.

Running both tools against the *same* LinkedIn account at once is the one thing to avoid. The combined volume will exceed what either tool thinks it is sending.

If you are moving more than a few accounts, [tell us](/contact/) and we will do the migration with you.

## Common questions

### Can I move my sequences from another LinkedIn tool into Doreach?

Message copy can be pasted across and prospect lists can be exported to CSV and imported directly. Sequence structure has to be rebuilt because every tool models steps and conditions differently, but it is usually a ten-minute job per campaign.

### Should I lower sending limits after switching LinkedIn tools?

Yes. Doreach has no automatic warm-up, so set the account's weekly limits well below the defaults for the first two to three weeks and raise them gradually. What LinkedIn watches is the account's behaviour, not which tool produced it.
