All sources produce the same kind of prospect list, so you can run any sequence on any of them. What differs is how warm the audience is.

## The sources

**LinkedIn search.** Paste a search URL. Broadest reach, coldest audience. Works when your filters describe a genuinely specific group.

**Sales Navigator search.** More filters, covering headcount growth, recent job changes, technologies and seniority. Better targeting than plain search if you have a licence.

**Post engagers.** Everyone who reacted to or commented on a specific post. Strong, because you have an obvious opener: the post itself. A competitor's popular post is a particularly good source.

**Event attendees.** People registered for a LinkedIn event. Shared context plus demonstrated interest in a topic.

**Group members.** Members of a LinkedIn group. Shared membership is a legitimate reason to connect.

**CSV import.** Your own list. See [importing a CSV](/help/getting-started/import-prospects-from-a-csv/).

## Rough guide to what performs

| Source | Typical acceptance | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Post engagers | Highest | Visible shared context |
| Event attendees | High | Demonstrated topic interest |
| Group members | Medium-high | Shared membership |
| Sales Navigator | Medium | Precise but cold |
| LinkedIn search | Lowest | Cold, often loose filters |

## Refreshing an audience

Search-based campaigns can refresh on a schedule, pulling newly matching profiles into the campaign automatically. Useful for ongoing plays like "founders who just raised" where the population changes weekly.

Static sources, meaning CSV and event attendees, do not refresh.

## Filters

Whatever the source, you can narrow by title, seniority, company size, location, industry and keywords, and exclude existing connections or anyone already in another campaign.

The filters are where acceptance rate is won or lost. A tighter list of 200 will beat a loose list of 2,000 on replies *and* on account safety.

## Common questions

### What audience sources does Doreach support?

LinkedIn search, Sales Navigator search, post engagers, event attendees, group members, and CSV import. All of them produce the same kind of prospect list, so any sequence can run on any source.

### Which LinkedIn audience source gets the best acceptance rate?

Post engagers and event attendees usually perform best, because there is a visible shared context to reference. Cold search results perform worst unless the filters are genuinely tight.
